Is it difficult to live in Fort Collins if you aren't s student or an alumnus?

My friend tells me that Fort Collins is a college town, even if you don't go to college there. Is it possible to fit into Fort Collins even if you're not a student or an alumnus?

Fort Collins isn't like other college towns where there is no integration between the general population and the student population - and at times outright antagonism between the two. CSU and the City of Fort Collins work together closely in many ways to assure that the students are welcome and safe in the city and the general public is enriched by many cultural and academic events on campus. I'd say the two populations not only get along well but complement each other.
