What area has the easiest commute (public transportation) into fairfax county?

I just got a job in Fairfax County and will be working at the office on Government parkway and I have no idea where to live. I have not bought a car yet and will have to take public transportation until I do. Any suggestions?

If you want a short commute then stay in the Fair Lakes area. You can go out to Reston but your commute will be a tad longer using public transportation. Should you have any further questions please give me a ring.
