We very rarely experience snow in the Greater Las Vegas Valley area, but just north of us, is Mount Charleston, which frequently receives snow during the winter. Being a desert city, we do not have as many trees as other areas, but if that is something of importance for you, Green Valley is just that - very green! Our nearest water body is Lake Mead, which is located in the east area of the valley, and offers camping, fishing, and many other fun boating activities!
