What would I face on a daily basis living in englewood?

I'm African American and thinking of moving to Englewood from Los Angeles. I would like to know what dangers I would face on a daily basis. How different is the level of crime in Englewood from the level of crime in Los Angeles?

Honestly, you can do better than Englewood. Move to the suburbs, get a second job to afford something else, ANYTHING. I don't have experience with Los Angeles's crime rates, but you're basically screwed if you live in Englewood. It's especially bad for single women, so I'm begging you to reconsider. It's just not a good area. Everyone says that.
