What are some of the Pros and Cons of living in Dobbs Ferry?

Well certainly one of the biggest pros of living in Dobbs Ferry is the proximity to the glorious Hudson River and the breathtaking views, especially at Sunset. Dobbs Ferry is also a little more affordable than some of its higher priced Westchester compatriots, especially in light of the aformentioned water views. It has nice walking trails as well. On the down side, there isn't much shopping or nightlife here. However, that is easily remedied by a trip into nearby Yonkers or to the Central Avenue strip stretching from White Plains straight to the Bronx. You will literally find everything you need there and possibly more.
