Neighbors no fans of new jail

For Cari Davisson, it's bad enough that she is living so near a major construction project that, to her, it's like enduring an eight-hour earthquake every day.

But what's even worse, she said, is that when the work finally ends, her only reward will be 830 new neighbors, all of them inmates in an $80 million jail serving seven cities in south King County.
