What is the housing cost like?

Compared to other cities in the United States, housing costs are much less than national averages. Especially, in towns on the outskirts of the city like Carencro, Broussard, Youngsville, Duson, Breaux Bridge and Scott. Quality of life and living in Lafayette is great and having the option of living a couple of minutes from the City in order to enjoy a more country feel is great too.
