Where is a good place to have a kids birthday party?

Try hosting your next party at The Whaling Musuem and Education Center of Cold Spring Harbor - it's a lot of fun! The museum hosts unique learning birthday parties throughout the year where guests play games, have fun with crafts, and rotate through activity stations, all lead by a seasoned museum educator. They run only one event in the museum at a time, and they try to cover as many elements of the party as they can to make the day fun and easy for you.

Go on a treasure hunt in a Pirate Party, decorate tiaras in a Mermaid Party, or hunt for real shark tooth fossils in a Shark Party - and more! Let them know what they can do to make your child's party as unique and special as possible.

Their birthday parties cover everything but the food, including printed personalized invitations, goody bags, all tableware, craft projects, and all activities. The birthday child chooses the craft project for the day.

Feel free to mix and match among our party themes, and they will gladly customize birthday themes for you. Parties take place on weekends and weekday afternoons.
