Central Park is an actual park rather than a neighborhood. The east and west sides of the park are the most prime pieces of real estate in Manhattan so they are extremely expensive. A two bedroom on the park rents for $8000 / month at the bare minimum. The north side of the park (in Harlem) is a lot less expensive but the park view still puts at around $5000 / month for a bare bones rental.
