Yonkers is a safe city, and yes the Bryn Mawr Neighborhood is near the Saw Mill River Parkway, It is also close to the NY State Thruway, Sprain Brook Parkway, Cross County Parkway, Close to Train buses.

Bran Mawr section is very centrally tocated to Saw Mill River Parkway as well as other highways as mentioned above
and convenient to downtown Yonkers.
