While Brookville does not have its own library, The Locust Valley Library is only 10 minutes away and has a great selection of books, videos and reference material. In addition, they offer classes throughout the year on anything from yoga to learn to play bridge. The Library regularly has lectures and other community events and projects.

The Village of Brookville does not have its own library, but utilizes the libraries of Locust Valley, Oyster Bay/East Norwich and the Gold Coast Library which is located in Glen Head.
