1 bedroom apartments in Brighton Park, Chicago - how much will I be paying per month?

If you can read Spanish or Polish (though the Polish population have largely moved out of Brighton Park), you can find apartments in Spanish or Polish newspapers for well below the English listings.

Someone explain how $900 for a one bedroom is affordable unless you are above average in your income? You can EASILY find a one bedroom in Brighton Park for $600 WITH utilities included and in lovely condition. I live in Brighton Park. I know someone who even has a 3 bedroom for $550 WITH utilities included in Brighton Park, but that is a gem and difficult, but not impossible, to find most times. :] <3 Luck to you!

Brighton Park is a little lower on the economic scale than some areas of Chicao, and 1 bedroom apartments are reasonably afford in the $900-$1000 range.
