Who is Boyden Arbor Road at Ft. Jackson named in honor of?

This was never recorded as being an actual person, just a body of water. Before I-77 was built there used to be a small beach around Percival Rd for people to swim in. The road was named for the pond and dam sharing the same name. This does not, however, rule out the possibility since prominent families who bought large tracts of land often had things named for them. Gills Creek is an example.
