We are so fortunate to have the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. It's very convenient to Olde Town Arvada and they have many wonderful plays, dance, exhibits and anything related to the arts. The theater in the center was recently renovated and the current production is "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels".
Unfortunately, the little old Arvada Playhouse in Olde Town hasn't had any performances for some time now and the building is actually up for sale. It's a cute little venue for community troupes to perform.
If you keep an eye on the local paper, the Arvada Transcript or the Your Hub section of the Denver post each week, you'll find small productions taking place in various churches, schools and other small venues.
By far, though the Arvada Center is the place to keep an eye on.
