"How can you not write about Michigan Ave?"
It's a pretty obvious street to review, but honestly, it's one of, if not the most famous and popular, streets in Chicago. Of course, no one is going to mention this street without mentioning the great dining and shopping destinations. The Magnificent Mile is one of those areas that people never forget about.
My only complaint is that it's so upscale. A little to rich for me. I like to visit here though. I don't really spend any money, since I can usually get similar stuff somewhere else for about one tenth the price, but the experience is a must. I'd recommend visiting for anyone coming to Chicago, but really, why recommend it when everyone will visit anyways?

"Most Popular Street in the Windy City"
Who hasn't heard of Michigan Ave? The most popular street in Chicago, it is also known as the "Magnificent Mile" This street is filled with some of the most extravagant and luxurious stores and restaurants, such as Tiffany's, Food Life, and The Signature Lounge At 96th. Not a place to really live, but a great place to visit and enjoy whenever you come downtown to enjoy Chicago!
"A little bit of everything"
Michigan Avenue is probably one of the best known streets in all of Chicago. It runs through a great deal of the city, and thus has many different aspects to it. You can find quiet areas to the north, inner city type settings in the south and a bustling metropolis packed with businesses, shopping and amazing food in-between the two. It is a great spot for tourists who want to experience much of Chicago's culture, but for those looking to find a living arrangement Michigan Avenue can be busy and painful to deal with. Traffic can easily become out of control and the foot traffic carries through for a great deal of the evening in the downtown areas. To the north it gets pretty low-key and family oriented.

"Loving Michigan Avenue"
I work in Mercy Hospital and I live around 15 minutes from the hospital . Traffic could be bad especially during the rush hours. I like the fact that I can jog in Lake Michigan, have a great breakfast in Billy Goat Tavern which can even consist of their favorite cheeseburgers. Afterwards, I could go to H and M and do my weekly shopping there. I love living in Michigan Avenue because there is a diverse group of people who are busy but are quite laid back enough to jog and to greet me. I like the fact that everything is within reach. Lastly, I like the fact that we have a lot of restaurants such as Bandera and C – View restaurant.

"Michigan Ave in the Chi City!"
Michigan Ave is one of the most popular streets in the Chi! Also, one of the busiest! It runs from the high end of the south side all the way through downtown and up to the North Side. The residents of Michigan Ave on the south side experience the inner city, loud noise type of life, while the North side residential area is pretty low key. Downtown is the best part of Mich. Ave. That's where the Magnificent Mile is. Its full of the best shopping and eating you will find! Very family oriented and a great tourist location!
