"Office buildings near the lake."
This entire neighborhood near the lake is a fabulous place to work. Just a few steps to the lake or lunch as your favorite restaurant. I don't know if I could get any work done. N. State Parkway runs from Elm St. directly through the center of downtown Chicago to the park. It is made up of mostly high rise office buildings.

"I love every street that takes me to the lakefront."
E. Bank Street is a typical downtown Chicago street filled with high rise office buildings. The are good looking buildings, but not much else going on until you reach the waterfront. The lake is absolutely beautiful. If you work in this area you are very lucky. There are hundreds of excellent dining establishments in this area.
