How walkable is the Near North Side neighborhood in Chicago?

By all means walk around in the Near North Side. There's a lot to see, and it's right near the Loop, which you can easily walk to on a nice day. It's safe too, so no worries about the walk.

The Near North Side neighborhood is extremely walkable. Located just outside the boundaries of downtown, you can walk pretty much anywhere and access all train lines with ease.

The area is VERY walkable. It's not only safe to walk around Near North Side, it's absolutely enjoyable. Many parks and different kinds of stores are all around.
