Unusual Ice cream flavors

Uraniumfish has in recent times bemoaned the fact that this sizzling New York summer which has gone down in history as the hottest ever has caused her to consume copious amounts of ice cream to keep cool. I too love the icy delight and so do many NYC dwellers some of whom are even driving out to North Fork, Long Island to take in some truly unusual flavors of the frozen dessert( goat cheese, roasted garlic) at an ice cream store called the Magic Fountain.

Would you be adventurous enough to try them or would you stick to the usual chocolate chips, vanilla etc? what are the most unusual flavors you have consumed? At the Chinatown Ice Cream factory , I have had black sesame and red bean ice cream but I don't think I can stomach goat cheese flavored ice cream. Could you?

I must admit - perhaps I'm boring - but I like "sweet" ice cream flavors. Within that range I'll be pretty adventurous (tiramisu ice cream, etc) but once you get to goat cheese and garlic, I'm fine thanks! I love red bean ice cream, by the way - it's delicious...

@ajadedidealist The red bean ice cream is sweetish isn't it? I do think they mix the beans with a whole bunch of sugar otherwise it would be tasteless.
