@Broadway BK Maybe you would like to add Mamoun's to your list? Its a NYC cabdriver and NYU student favorite and I love it as well. One place NOT to go to - the Falafel Hut on Madison and 97th. I saw a roach crawling up the wall there once, and they didn't even offer to refund my meal!
