Brokelyn is a really awesome site! Also think that Design Sponge (http://www.designspongeonline.com/) is a good place to go for those who are looking to revamp the furniture they found on the street!

The problem is that the recession was the worst in history, and hurt a lot of businesses. In fact, it hurt so businesses so deeply, that many of them either went bankrupt, or had to lay off nearly their entire staff just to use the extra cash for profit taking and capital. That is why things are slow to pick up.
