East Adams St, Downtown

This is definitely a great part of Detroit. It runs right along an absolutely GORGEOUS park, with beautiful trees that look amazing in the summer. Right on this street is one of the best bars I've ever been to, "Proof." You have to stop by that bar if you're in the area. Another noteworthy restaurant on the street is Elwood's, which you should stop by if you're going to or coming from a game at Ford Field. They have a great chicken sandwich, or at least they did when I went there. Along with Woodward Ave. Adams is another must-visit for any tourist who wants to see the best parts of Detroit!

I have the great joy of attending a church and ballgames in the same stretch of land. Situated right down town and open, Adams street next to the park is amazing. The area is very different from the old stadium area. But right here in this little stretch you can see a football game, a baseball game and a show. Not a bad stretch of real estate!
