"Vast shopping avenues"

St. Nicholas avenue was named in honor of Saint Nicholas. Since then it has become an important street in New York city. The path ways of this street are overtaken by hawkers and shoppers giving the locals and visitors an easy access to the goods and items available. Washington heights and Harlem lie in the vicinity of Saint Nicholas Avenue. Other than local goods you could also get a taste of living in style as the Gap store is located across the street.
