What is parking like in Morningside Heights, New York City?

Nowhere in Manhattan is great for parking, but relative to the rest of the city, Morningside isn't bad. It's a lot less densely populated and the street traffic lets up pretty significantly once you get north of the park. Most people end up parking in garages if they have a car in the city which costs a monthly fee. But, street parking is semi-decent up here on the street.
