"Decent Place to Go"

The area around 110th St between Park and 2nd Ave is very populated by a few schools and churches. Whatever your denomination may be, there is a church for you. There are Spanish and English speaking congregations in the area.

There are schools on nearly every block. You can see them as there are fences around them. The type of people that live there are not to be desired as much, but at least they won't bother you if you don't bother them. Other than a few loud people and some unmentionables hanging out at street corners and delis, the area is not too bad a place to be.
Pros
  • Space for cars to park
  • Mixed bag
  • Plenty of schools
Cons
  • Too many kids around during summer
  • Too many people at times
  • Unsafe place to be

"East 110th Street"

East 110th Street is a nice street in Harlem. There's a lot going on in this neighborhood and it very easily accessible, mainly due to the 6 train on 110th St on 2nd Avenue. I really like this section of Harlem and the look and feel of the street. Uptown Manhattan has a lot to offer in the way of substance and I really enjoy the ambiance of the neighborhood. All in all this is a nice street in Harlem.
