just cuz there are projects doesnt mean its bad. Its actually pretty safe at night just mind ur buisiness and you'll be fine.

from a scale of 1-10 its about a 6.. mainly because of the housing projects towards the left side of 110th street.. but as always the area is changing with new developments on the rise

Well, during the day just like any other neighborhood its safe, but at night it tends to get dangerous. Just google "Nymag nyc crime pdf" and see if you like the area. (Note, its on the Upper East Side portion of the map)
