"Beautiful street for residents of all ages"
Clinton Avenue in Clinton Hill is a quiet, tree-lined street that is great for residents of any age as it is quiet enough for those who've already settled down and close enough to a number of lively spots for those who haven't yet passed their thrill-seeking primes. In this neighborhood, the street is home to both a stop on the (less than savory) G train and the (more reputable) C train. It's a mostly residential street - though where it intersects with Fulton it features a grocery shops and so forth - and quite a beautiful one at that.
Pros
- large/mostly affordable apartments
Cons
- lack of parking in and around the neighborhood

"I love this place!"
I used to live here when I was really young. I loved this neighborhood. Nice and quiet. Parts of it seem quiet suburban but with a Brooklyn touch. There are a lot of bodegas nearby and family owned shops. I used to get free ring pops from a Ma and Pop store before Pop died. So sad. But its a beautiful area and the people are wonderful. I recommend it!

"Beautiful busy area"
While parts of this Fort Greene Avenue are quieter (the ones further away from the subway of course), most of this avenue is pleasantly bustling without the grime and chaos of other busy areas. The houses are big and well kept along the entire Avenue and it is within walking distance to many universities and Downtown Brooklyn. This would be a great Avenue to have the space and quiet of Brooklyn but the proximity to urban life, if you can afford it.
