"Way better than before"
Putnam has come a long way from what it used to be. When i was growing up my mother told me to stay away from that area because there was a building on putnam and grand that did everything from drugs to prostitution to killings. The vibe of that street has changed alot to a point where you can walk around late at night.

"not a great place"
Graffiti and boarded up windows along this street. Mostly multi family homes and apartments. On street parking but I would not want to park on the street at night. The vibe from some of the people on the street is very off putting. Street not kept very clean. Home values continue to drop for this area.

"On Putnam Avenue"
Putnam Avenue is chalked full of businesses, bars, schools, and restaurants. I like this area a lot and think that it is a fantastic place to live and work. I think that this one of the more classically Brooklyn Streets I've been able to visit and think that it's a great place to even visit on your next trip to this dynamic borough.
