This street is probably most known for its inner sunset portion. On this street in the inner sunset, there is a variety of delicious food and bars. It is very close to UCSF's hospital so you will see people in scrubs walking around frequently. This street takes you into Golden Gate Park right next to the new Academy of Sciences and the De Young Museum which was recently remodeled. On the other side of the park you would be in the Richmond district. It crosses over Geary and Clement Street which are small Chinatown-like streets. It ends over by a nice park which contains a lake by Lake Street. Besides in the inner sunset, traffic is relatively good. There is great mass transportation on the sunset side of the park. This street is very friendly and would be great for any type of family.
