"Kittredge Terrace"

Kittredge Terrace is a small street located between The University of San Francisco's main campus and USF's Lone Mountain Campus, also known as the graduate campus. You can see students walking up and down the street to and from the campuses. Parking tends to be a problem during classes. It is typically quiet around here unless Students throw a party.

"Tamalpais Terrace"

I lived here for a summer while attending the University of San Francisco, which is conveniently across the street. This street is small and located between USF's Main Campus and USF's Presentation Theater. It is nice and quiet. Students are constantly walking back and forth between the two campuses. Parking is sometimes impossible during classes.

"Stanyan"

Stanyan Street runs north to south from Geary Blvd to Belgrave Ave. There are some bicycle shops close to Haight street near Frederick. There is the Kezar Bar across the Golden Gate Park. There is also Hotels, Whole Foods and couple of smaller shops. There is some traffic from Geary to Parnassus but it is less congested up the hill towards 17th. Great shortcut to get to Castro and Noe Valley.

"8th Ave-Inner Sunset"

I lived on 8th Ave between Lincoln Way and Irving St. for several years. The Golden Gate park is right across the street. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops on 9th Ave and Irving which are steps away. This street is some what quiet, except for traffic on Lincoln Way, lots of nice houses and the neighbors are super nice.

"Good' ol McAllister St."

I used to rent a converted garage on this street while I attended the University of San Francisco. Right behind Koret health Center and adjacent to St. Ignatius Church. I remember that it was typically quiet except when they had soccer games at Koret. I also remember the Laundry place on Stanyan, French Quarter, I think and the Greek/Middle Eastern Deli on the corner. Fulton 5 is a block away and so is the Golden Gate Park.

"9th Ave Hub"

I miss living in the Inner Sunset right on 9th Ave above the crooked window, down the street from Le Video and Golden Gate Park. There are many restaurants and shops on 9th Ave between Lincoln Way and Judah that cater to UCSF students and residents of the Inner Sunset. The traffic is overwhelming especially on the weekends. When ever possible, take public transportation or walk because you will not find any parking.

"Busy Lincoln Way!"

I used to live on Lincoln Way between 11th Ave & 12th Ave near Andronicos, oh and there is no 13th Ave, it's Funston. I loved the fact that Golden Gate Park was right across the street and the 71 was steps away. Lincoln Way is a very busy street it runs almost the entire length of the Golden Gate Park, from Kezar to the Ocean. I onced saw a drunk driver crash unto 4 parked cars, outside of my bay window. Unfortunately, all the vehicles belonged to my flat mates and the falt above ours.

"Irving-Inner Sunset"

Irving runs parallel to Lincoln and Judah. This street alleviates much of the traffic congestion found on Lincoln Way. Irving has plenty of shops and restaurants between 7th and 10th Avenues. The people are very friendly and everything you may need is within walking distance. The N Judah runs on Irving for several blocks.

"9th & Irving--Inner Sunset, Perfect Spot!"

Walking accross the Golden Gate Park past the De Young Museum & Japanese Gardens the road unfolds into one of my favorite neighborhoods in all of the great metropolis of San Francisco, Inner Sunset. I lived there for 5 years and enjoyed every minute of it. Golden Gate park is across the street and perfect for long walks, bike rides, tennis, boce, and picnics with friends. Once you've worked up an appetite you have your choice of cafes and restaurants, anything from good ole' american breakfast, crepes, pizza, mexican, middle eastern, thai, seafood to fusion. Irving St. has flourished with boutiques and diverse businesses which hold their own against any other San Francisco community. There are some great watering holes that have endured the economic seasons such as, The Saloon, Mucky Duck, Shamrock & Blackthorn Tavern. The spirit of this neighborhood is alive and thriving, most of all people are friendly!
