"a relatively short street"

Judah is a local street; a mere residential street. Both sides are filled with houses and people are rarely seen traveling on the sidewalks; therefore, it is relatively quiet. Nevertheless, one of the muni metro lines, the N line, run along this street and provides a convenient source of transportation. The slope of this street varies from street to street, but overall is even sloped. Judah starts at the Great Highway and turns into Parnassus past 7th Avenue, making Judah a relatively short street. The street is wide enough for one lane on each side and parallel parking spaces are available on both sides of the street.

"One of the busier streets in Sunset."

Judah is located in the Sunset District of San Francisco. It runs from the Great Highway to Parnassus. It is a residential street with the exception of a few small businesses. This street is not very busy usually and is pretty quiet. It is generally a pretty safe place. The N metro line comes through every once in a while so you may hear rumbling occasionally. This street is close to many businesses and stores a block away on Irving. This street would be a nice place to live.

"Judah Street is okay."

Judah Street runs perpendicular to Ocean Beach and starts Great Highway and ends around 5th avenue. Once it hits 5th avenue, it curves and becomes Parnassus Avenue, which is right by the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center. Judah Street is almost like any other typical street in the Sunset, except that the N-Streetcar runs on it, so living on the street can be a little noisy. I know someone who lives there and she says that at night when she watches television, sometimes her house shakes because of the streetcars passing. Judah is far from a tourist attraction; there aren’t any amazing things to see. It’s a residential area, so there are mostly just houses with a few scattered businesses here and there. There is a church by 43rd avenue (I think Anglican, but I’m not sure), and a Korean church by 36th avenue. Once it gets to the 20’s, there are a few more businesses, like a Kumon tutoring center, a gymnastics studio, and a dentistry. St. Anne’s Church is by Funston. Once you finally hit 9th and Judah, the shops become a little more densely packed. There’s an Asian fusion restaurant called Dragonfly, a doughnut shop, a convenience store, and some other shops. However, if you are a tourist in San Francisco, this street is not vital to your sightseeing needs.

"Judah - A busy street in the Sunset"

Judah is one of the main streets in the Sunset, with there being a N-Judah Muni line which runs all the way from Ocean Beach to around 9th Avenue. This street tends to be crowded with many cars. Judah is mostly a residential street with the occasional restaurant or storefront. On Judah near the beach, there are a couple of nice cafes where the surfers usually hang out and a nice Chinese restaurant, I believe, that serves delicious Dungeness crab with garlic noodles. Also there is a 7-11. Judah is located next to Irving St, and transforms into Parnassus from 5th Avenue. On 9th Avenue and Judah, there is a Cybelle’s Pizzeria, a doughnut shop, a Jamba Juice on Irving, and a couple of Chinese restaurants.

"Quiet but worth visiting"

Judah Street is a very long street that has a lot of nice houses. All day and night the N Judah line runs along the street to provide transportation for anyone trying to get somewhere in a hurry. I use to live on this street and love the bakeries and shops that were so close to home. On every street there is at least one tree that make San Francisco so beautiful. Usually quiet and not all that interesting, Judah street is not as memorable as other streets in San Francisco, but it’s still worth a visit to enjoy the less hectic part of the city.

"Has a few places to see but mainly it has a great transportation line"

Judah can essentially take you anywhere in the city. The N line runs throughout all of Judah street and travels from ocean beach to downtown. Along it’s route, it passes several well known neighborhoods and even passes a hospital. This street is essentially a street with houses on both sides. I personally would think twice about living there because every 20 minutes or so, the N passes and it makes a loud noise which could get annoying over time. The area of Judah closer to ocean beach (46th street) isn't the best area due to the high vicinity of rowdy teenagers. However around that area are several good restaurants. My favorite being Thanh Long which if famous for it’s roast crab located on the corner of 46th and Judah. There are several other places to see and eat at but over all this is just a good street for transportation.

"Great transportation, several places to see and eat at."

Judah Street is home to the N train. Hundreds of people take the N train everyday to get to work, to school, and vice versa. Judah Street is one of the main streets of the Sunset District, as the N train runs through many busy areas of San Francisco. The N train will take you all the way to the Giants (AT&T) Ballpark. Along Judah Street are many residential houses, near the beach you will find a few restaurants, and a few around the cross section with 9th Avenue. As you head towards 5th Avenue, Judah Street will transition into Parnassus Avenue; this is where Judah Street ends.

"Great to Get Around"

From Judah, you can basically get anywhere in the city. The N-Judah line runs all the way down to the beach and also takes you downtown, to Market and the Embarcadero, even all the way to AT&T Park and Caltrain. However, there isn't a whole lot to do on Judah. It's mostly a residential street. Near the beach, there are a few cute stores, such as a health-food store and smoothie bar. The only thing that really stands out is that it's the best way to get from one end of the city to the next fairly quickly (on Muni, that is).

"Bus line runs down it but convenient to go downtown or to the beach."

Judah Street runs from the base of the Hospital, UCSF, to the very end at the Great Highway. There is a Muni train that goes up and down this street which comes frequently and takes you downtown. It is only two blocks away from the beautiful Golden Gate Park. There are stores along this street. They are sort of scattered, but mainly clumped by 9th avenue. It is a great street to take down to the beach if you are not in a rush. There are fewer stop signs however you do drive alongside trains which can be nerve wrecking. There is a Pre School located on 19th avenue and Judah. There are also 2 gas stations there as well if you need a quick fill up. I would personally love to like right off this street, not exactly on it. The trains do make noise and run late at night so if you are a light sleeper it wouldn’t be ideal. However if you do not drive it is amazingly convenient to go wherever using the buses.

"Busy street in the Sunset with Muni train connections running all the way to the beach!"

Judah Street is a relatively busy street much like the nearby Taraval Street in the Sunset District. Unlike the usual streets in the Sunset, Judah has a lot more action going on. The street runs from Ocean Beach all the way to University of California San Francisco medical hospital.

The “N” muni train runs all the way down Judah Street and provides nice connection from the beach to all the way downtown and other valuable parts of the Sunset district such as 9th and Judah. The intersection at 9th Avenue and Judah has a lot of action going on with plenty of restaurants.

The housing on Judah Street is nice. There are some apartments and some houses. The home are really nothing special as they blend in with the rest of the average Sunset homes however the location on the street might be ideal as there is plenty of public transportation. The street isn’t busy enough to be worried for noise except for the occasional street car passing by.
