"Not so SHARP anymore"

Sharpstown is located on the West side of Central Houston, and is in between Loop 610 and The Sam Houston Beltway. Some of the main roads traveled in this area are Bellaire, Beechnut, and Harwin. Harwin is known for many warehouse type wholesale stores that often sell knock off items for very affordable prices.

Sharpstown is home to Bayland Park, Westwood Country Club, Sharpstown Country Club, and Houston Baptist University. In the Sharpstown area you will find a mix of strip centers ranging from Asian to Hispanic. The homes in the area are very diverse as well, and can vary from established homes you would expect to see retirees living in, to more affordable housing and apartments that would house singles or young couples. Sharpstown Mall is located here, and just a short drive away you can reach Downtown and The Galleria Area.

"Sharpstown, Houston"

Sharpstown is one of Houston’s historic neighborhoods. In fact, this was one of the first Master Planned Communities in the southwest part of the city in 1955. The architecture in this area displays its dated essence. If you visit this area, you will discover bungalow style homes. Alongside these offerings are modern apartments and housing choices. Sharpstown is a very ethnic portion of Houston to visit. You will find a variety of shops and restaurants in this neighborhood. This seasoned location offers visitors some attractions to visit. Sharpstown Park is one of these offerings. This neighborhood also has some of the city’s oldest residential communities and associations.

There are a number of major roadways in this area. Access to these makes travel around the city easy. State Highway 59, the Southwest Freeway, and the 610 Loop are popular offerings in the Sharpstown area. There are also busy streets in this neighborhood. Some of these include Gessner Road, Beechnut Street, and Bellaire Boulevard. These are some of the longest streets in the city providing access to many different destinations. Bayland Park is another great family friendly attraction in this neighborhood. Sharpstown is a nice community to visit, even with its dated offerings.
