"Great inner city living"

Cool place to live but if you are okay with the housing projects that take up lot of space but if you continue to venture through myrtle you will find cool treasures. Like the legendary Kam Kau chinese restaurant that has a children's book. There is also the cool Pratt art supply store is very big. Cool street nonetheless.

"There is so much here"

From hospitals to schools to organic food market to the zagat rated restaurants this is a great place to live. The great thing also about dekalb is that is on mostly every block there is a great restaurant with so many different options. Another thing that is great about dekalb is there are colleges, middle schools and elementary schools that are sprinkled across this majestic street.

"Nice long blocks"

Quiet, historic street filled with brownstones and school and concert halls. There is even a rumored celebrity who lives here (hint:"Entourage" star). There is a some restaurants that are on this street which are pretty good. There is even a pool which is for the children and is attached to a park and elementary school.

"Clinton Hill-Waverly Avenue"

Very quiet street in Clinton hills. The only restaurant i have seen that has opened on Waverly is Speakeasy which is a great addition to Clinton hills. This a real small street so there is nothing that goes on this street. But there are some schools and parks to carry your children too.

"Cool Area but not for me........"

Quiet, cool area to hang out and chill. Not a great area of bed stuy to have fun but its okay for families and not alot of restaurants. There are some schools on this street but they aren't schools but they are okay. Not a street I would live on but its cool for families. So my rating of this street is "Eh".

"Almost there...but not yet"

Franklin is getting there to where Washington and putnam but there is still a lot of crime over there. growing up over there my teachers taught me how to drop down when i heard a gunshot. Its not that serious anymore but i would walk around all the time late at night. Restaurants have popped up along the years to help the vibe get better.

"So much to do !!!"

there is a smorgasbord of things to do here. So many different types of restaurants from ali's roti shop to cake man raven to the thai restaurant on Clinton. There is also gym and dance studios with really cool events. Then there is that great hardware store on Washington with the skylight. Fulton has come a long way from the 90s.

"Great place for people who like quiet streets"

St. James is a great street to raise a family since there are so many parks, libraries, and schools in the neighborhood. The is a very quiet street which is lined with brownstones. There is also alot of transporation options like the g train, c train, and alot of different buses. Also Pratt and St. Joseph College is in the neighborhood. How can u go wrong ??

"I lovve Washington Ave."

I have lived on washington from since the late 80s and have always have loved this street that probably why i have lived there so long. There is so mush there like libraries, subway, buses, and restaurant. The only problem i have with it is all the yuppies who are moving in. They arent really nice neighbors and i hope they dont bring this great street down the drain

"Way better than before"

Putnam has come a long way from what it used to be. When i was growing up my mother told me to stay away from that area because there was a building on putnam and grand that did everything from drugs to prostitution to killings. The vibe of that street has changed alot to a point where you can walk around late at night.
