Garibaldi-Meucci Museum is a fave of mine. It is located on Tompkins Avenue. It is located in what appears to be a historic district. It looks like a normal house with an Itallian atmospher. It is a simple place to visit if you have some time to kill. It has a nice tour. If you are in the area of this house and some down time you should visit this museum.

The Garibaldi-Meucci Museum is a hidden treasure of Staten Island, located at 420 Tompkins Avenue. The Museum, now over 10 years old, is not only beautiful architecture to admire, but a museum preserving the history of Italian military figure Giuseppe Garibalda and inventions of Antonio Meucci. The museum features historic artifacts and offers the most interesting of courses including educational plays for children and classes in the learning of the Italian language.
