"Raleigh Avenue, Staten Island, New York"

I love this road because it is near a zoo and I love taking photos of animals. You can also feed the animals. My favorite animal is the monkeys. We walked hour for a couple of hours. It was fun for I and my husband. You can also buy refreshments while you are visiting the animals. Many of the kids there appeared to have fune feeding birds. If you are on this road you should visit. It is called Barret Park Zoo. It is pretty big.

"Brentwood Avenue, Staten Island, New York"

This street runs through Snug Harbor Cultural Center Park. It is a great photography oppurtunity. I love taking pictures in this park. It is filled with nature. It has been kept up well. It would be a good place to take your family on a picknik or walk the family dog. I have only been there in the day but I had a good time taking pictures. I would stay away at night. Lovely Place.

Not what I expected from TV. It was nice.

"Forest Avenue, Staten Island, New York"

This is going to sound odd but I found the best shopping place on this street. It was the Salvation Army. I bought countless clothes from this place. They were the really nice name brand clothes for a little bit of nothing. There thrift store has many nice things for cheap prices. I bought a tommy shirt for $2 and a pair of True Religions for $10. That is a deal for these brands. If you are looking for a good place to shop and you are near this street. This is the palce.

"Tompkins Avenue, Staten Island, New York"

Garibaldi-Meucci Museum is a fave of mine. It is located on Tompkins Avenue. It is located in what appears to be a historic district. It looks like a normal house with an Itallian atmospher. It is a simple place to visit if you have some time to kill. It has a nice tour. If you are in the area of this house and some down time you should visit this museum.

I visited the Every Thing Goes Book Cafe and Neighborhood StageEvery Thing Goes Book Cafe and Neighborhood Stage located on Victory Boulevard. It was an interesting place. It had many eduacational books. People expressed themselves on stage in a free but open way. I had a pretty good expresso there. It also had a nice garden. It was a very accepting cafe.
Not far from there is where Goodfella's Old's World Brick Oven Style Pizza is located and it is some of the best Pizza I have eaten. I would recommend this eat for the whole family. I love this street;-)

"Stuyvesant Place, Staten Island, New York"

One of the places I visited on Stuyvesant Place was the Staten Island Museum. It consists of New Yorks art, science, and history. I found it very interesting. History lovers would love this place. New Yorkers love this place. It is also located near the ferry.
The admission to the museum is only $2 but well worth it. It is the main attraction on this street. My husbands favorite exhibits were the insects especially the spiders. We had a nice a time and learned a lot about New York here.

"Lafayette Ave, Staten Island, New York"

The best place located on Lafayette Ave is Adobe Blues. I went there with some friends at night. I had some nachos that were out of this world. It was a great atmospher and they had a decent selection of beer. They also had plenty of wonderful meals to choose from on their menues besides the nachos I ordered. But I really the nachos if you go there. The people that worked their seemed really nice. We had a good time. If you are ever on Lafayette Ave you should go there.

"Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York"

I love this street because of the Confrence House. The view is amazing here. I take my Sony Alpha 700 there and I take dozens of pictures of the different historic houses but my favorite is the Confrence House. I love Historic houses. I think this place makes the whole street worth it. Admission is only $3 a person. And you get access to all the grounds. This place is also a museum. In the summer the flowers are verry beautiful. It is also considered a land mark. You have to visit this site if you are in the area.

"Lighthouse Avenue, Staten Island, New York"

My favorite place on Lighthouse Avenue is the Jacques Marchias Museum. It is composed of Tibetan Art. The fees are reasonable. I paid $10 I for and my husband to go. It was worth it. Many of the exhibits were amazing. My favorite is the portraits of the Tibetan people and their home land. I also enjoyed their sculpters. They were very spiritual people. I am an amature photographer. I love taking pictures. This is one of the few museums that have some amzing artwork to photograph. You will aslo see the Staten Island lightouse near Lighthouse Avenue. It is a nice view for people who like light houses. This a street I like visiting when I am in the Staten Island area.
