"Unbelievable, hidden jewel near beltline!"
We just moved into The Townes at Crabtree townhome community and could not have found a better hidden secret! The neighborhood is small, so neighbors actually walk and talk and take time to get together for dinners and a glass of wine. The location is incredible...a block from Crabtree Mall and the 440 beltline. How convenient?? 4 miles from downtown nightlife, 10 miles to the airport, yet no planes fly overhead, restaurants everywhere, easy commute to RTP.
My only complaint in the area is traffic getting out of the area. Leadmine and Creedmoor Roads are the two ways in and out, and at 7:30am or 5:30pm it can be tricky. But, once in the neighborhood, you don't hear anything. The resales and rentals have been great! As a real estate agent myself, I found it to be the easiest real estate decision I've made in Raleigh. How can you go wrong in this location???
I would recommend this neighborhood to any one of my clients, with one small exception. Because all of the units are three levels, and climbing stairs is just a must, I wouldn't recommend clients that are elderly, or considering siingle-level living, although a great area for active seniors who don't mind the extra exercise.
