"Noisy, unsafe street in a good neighborhood"
Hopkins Street in the Montrose neighborhood of Houston is not a good place to live. It's a fun place to hang out and good for nightlife but living there is not safe (especially at the Pacific Street intersection). I lived in an apartment at this intersection and it was awful. There were very young male prostitutes who hung out on this corner waiting for customers. They would bother me when I was coming and going from the apartment. My car was also broken into twice at this location. The surrounding neighborhood is great - wonderful restaurants and bars, close to downtown and the museum district but this street is not a safe place for a lone female to be at night. This street was also incredibly noisy as there are multiple clubs a few blocks away. Drunk people walking back to their cars at 3am are very noisy and annoying when you are trying to sleep.
