"Fairly quiet street in a great location"
Vermont is located in the heart of Houston's Montrose neighborhood. I lived in a duplex on Vermont seven years ago and loved it. The street is pretty quiet.
It's close to everything I wanted. The University of St. Thomas is a few minutes away. There are many good restaurants including Cafe Montrose and Mark's. Cafe Brasil is a great place to hang out and drink coffee or wine and Empire Cafe has yummy desserts. There are some quality art galleries close by. The neighborhood is known for being artsy even though artists can no longer afford to live there.
