Headland Dr, St. Charles

Headland drive runs through an older neighborhood with mature trees and a variety of houses. It provides close access to schools, the hospital, the libary, various shopping and the historic downtown area of St. Charles. Our neighbors are friendly and helpful, and their houses and yards are well maintained. We are mostly surrounded by young families with children, but older residents (in some cases original owners) still remain. Traffic is sparse for the most part on both weekdays and weekends. Garage sales are quite common on Saturday morning in the summer. My family enjoys taking walks in the evenings through the neighborhood, to the park (Blachette and Jaycee are both close), to the library, to the grocery store or sometimes to get custard. We love living on this street!
