Sad urban street that lacks all aspects of ideal cityscaping: imaginative design, color, trees, charm, personality... where's the life?

"East 27th Street"
Not the greatest Brooklyn street. I wasn’t very impressed. I didn’t think that it was nice to look at and thought that because the streets around it were relatively convenient, that it would also house the same benefits, but I was sadly mistaken. This may not be the place for the NYC culture you were searching for. I was kind of disappointed, but the neighborhood itself definitely has a lot to offer.

"Quite family street with typical south brooklyn houses"
East 27th is a typical Brooklyn block lined by a mix of similar looking houses and unique new constructions. Its a quite one way street that doesn't see all that much traffic but yet is close enough to Nostrand Avenue as well as Bedford on the other side for shopping and a playground. It seems like a nice place to raise your kids because they can play outside safely with the other neighborhood kids and there is a good elementary school in the area as well as access to public transportation nearby.
