"One of the Best"

This is a great street in a great neighborhood! Potrero Hill is part residential, part nightlife, as many neighborhoods in San Francisco are, but the East Side proximity to many of the city's attractions make it a great destination to visit or live in. One of the major attractions is Goat Hill Pizza, a restaurant that offers all-you-can-eat pizza AND cheap beer! What a concept! The line to get in is usually out the door, which gives this street a busy, bustling feeling. The uphill drive/walk is quite the haul, and parking can be very limited at times.

The nearby Potrero Hill Recreation Center offers a much-needed escape from the busier city neighborhoods - as this city is full of parks!

If there is any doubt about this neighborhood, the views make it completely and utterly worth it! At night, on top of the hill, assuming the sky is clear, you can feel like you are a part of the city and enjoy the nightlife while simultaneously looking down and seeing the ENTIRE skyline lighting up the horizon. It is worth seeing at least once in your lifetime.

So far, one of my favorite streets in San Francisco.

"Not bad, not great"

Connecticut Street is not the greatest area in Potrero, but then again I might be biased because I don't really dig living over here. I have found the traffic to be ridiculous (well, it IS San Francisco, afterall) and the drivers seem to be even less considerate than the rest of the city, which is really saying something. On the plus side, Jackson park is nearby which is good if you have a dog that wants to run on grass every now and again. It's just a neighborhood area, not much excitement, but the neighbors are ok.
