"Balboa Near Ocean Beach"

Balboa is a pretty long street, it goes all the way to Ocean Beach. The houses on the street is okay, but not the best. If you drive along the street there are sections like from 3rd Ave. to 8th Ave. and 30th Ave. to 38th Ave. where there are lots of restaurants and some shops, while all the other rest are house and more houses. Balboa is a little far off from the busy and more lively streets like Clement and Geary Blvd. so it can be a bit boring at times. The view there is not special or anything, its just normal houses and apartments, and living there isn't really expensive and I consider it a safe neighborhood to live in.

"A great street to have a day at in richmond."

Balboa is a street that runs throughout the Richmond District. This street is pretty safe most of the time. It is relatively busy sometimes. There are some very good restaurants on this street. The street has a couple of schools such as George Washington High School and Argonne Elementary School. I really like the vibe of this street. It isn’t overcrowded busy, but it is just right. This street has access to the 38 and 31 bus lines. It is mostly a residential street with a lot of apartment buildings. This area would be a very good place to reside.

"Long street, with many places to see and eat at."

Balboa Street extends from Point Lobos Avenue to Arguello Boulevard. Balboa Street tends to be quite busy as there are quite a few well-known eating establishments on the street. There are also a few mini markets on Balboa Street. The 31, 31AX, 31BX and 38 Muni buses run on Balboa Street, this is another reason why Balboa Street is quite busy. Balboa Street is a small commuter’s street as there are quite a number of people everyday who use it to get around the city because of the small number of stop signs there are on Balboa Street. Aside from the easy transportation, restaurants, and mini-markets, Balboa Street is just another residential street in the Richmond District.

"Balboa St. - a nice street in the Richmond with a variety of cuisines"

Balboa is a street in the Richmond district of San Francisco, running from 48th Avenue to 2nd Avenue. Balboa is mostly a residential street that contains many hills that are tiresome to walk on. The street has a couple of schools such as George Washington High School and Argonne Elementary School. As the street approaches 2nd Avenue, there are a couple of Chinese restaurants. The 31- Muni line runs along Balboa from 48th Avenue and all the way to Arguello where the street transfers into Turk St. The 31 line will take you all the way to downtown. Down around 34th to 38th Avenue, there are many restaurants that serve Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, and Italian food.

"great dining places"

Balboa street is just your simple quiet street in the Richmond District in San Francisco. The houses along the sidewalk of this street are very beautiful and big. The # 31 bus line runs on Balboa street day and night, which is great for people who like to go out late or leave home early. The streets are always clean and provide many local dining for a very affordable price. Many kids play on the street without fear and parents too know the safety of Balboa street. There are churches, schools, etc. that make Balboa very suitable for families with children.

"Great Food variety"

Balboa is a good place to go if you want to eat. From 32 and Balboa to 37th there is a great variety of food, which you can pick from. Balboa is known for the high school students that go eat there at lunch. This street is pretty clean and overall the people that live and visit Balboa seem pretty nice. Balboa is mostly based on one neighborhood the Richmond District, it doesn’t really go farther than Arguello but it starts at ocean beach. But, if you are driving I suggest you take another street because there are way too many stop signs .

"Richmond District street with lots of apartment housing and close to lots of action only a few blocks away!"

Balboa Street is strictly in the Richmond District. It runs all the way from Ocean Beach to 2nd Avenue where Balboa will turn into Turk Street. There is not a whole lot to do on the actual Balboa Street. Most of the action will go on nearby Clement and Geary streets only a few blocks away; however, there are a few restaurants and shops scattered throughout Balboa.

The housing situation on Balboa is mainly apartment buildings mixed in with single unit family houses. Noise should not be a problem like it may be on Clement or Geary. But there shouldn’t be too much public transportation as you might have to walk to Geary to catch all the major bus lines. There are many playgrounds scattered up and down Balboa Street and other nearby streets.
