Baker St Northwest, Downtown

I am fascinated by aquatic life. Whenever I travel, I make a point to stop by the local aquarium to see what they have to offer. In my east coast travels to date, the aquariums in Camden, New Jersey (despite the neighborhood, really!!) and Baltimore, Maryland have impressed me the most. They are nothing, however, compared to the scope of the Georgia Aquarium on Baker Street. The vast tanks contain a diverse population of sharks, fish, and other aquatic wonders. Definitely recommended for any fellow tourist.

Don't waste your time or money going to Baker Street. If your going to the GA Aquarium stop and go somewhere else. This place is a joke. They don't have all the animals available to view and most of the time the are doing construction so you see very much of anything. It took 6 of us 20 minutes to see the whole thing and we even took some pictures. Why city officials put the Aquarium inthis area is beyond me. The area looks like a drug-gang are they no decent person should be in.

The Georgia Aquarium located at 225 Baker Street NW in Atlanta is an attraction catered to all ages, young and old. The Aquarium would require more than one visit to fully see and experience all of the exhibits, including walk through tunnels, a 4D theater, and endless tanks of sea life, fish, varieties of sharks and rays. The aquarium also offers hands-on educational programs and tours. Cafe Aquaria, the aquariums on-site restaurant, features delicious cuisine of pizza, pasta, soups and sandwiches.
