The street is filled with various businesses, from tailor shops to purim headquarters. Though it runs from Bay Parkway to east new york; I would avoid it between Coney Island Avenue and Ocean Avenue any time between 2 and 8 pm, except on Saturday - the religious Jewish people celebrate Shabbos and thus do not drive. Other times - walking is the choice for this busy street. It is two way and is standard in width.
