East 27th is a typical Brooklyn block lined by a mix of similar looking houses and unique new constructions. Its a quite one way street that doesn't see all that much traffic but yet is close enough to Nostrand Avenue as well as Bedford on the other side for shopping and a playground. It seems like a nice place to raise your kids because they can play outside safely with the other neighborhood kids and there is a good elementary school in the area as well as access to public transportation nearby.
