Judah Street runs from the base of the Hospital, UCSF, to the very end at the Great Highway. There is a Muni train that goes up and down this street which comes frequently and takes you downtown. It is only two blocks away from the beautiful Golden Gate Park. There are stores along this street. They are sort of scattered, but mainly clumped by 9th avenue. It is a great street to take down to the beach if you are not in a rush. There are fewer stop signs however you do drive alongside trains which can be nerve wrecking. There is a Pre School located on 19th avenue and Judah. There are also 2 gas stations there as well if you need a quick fill up. I would personally love to like right off this street, not exactly on it. The trains do make noise and run late at night so if you are a light sleeper it wouldn’t be ideal. However if you do not drive it is amazingly convenient to go wherever using the buses.
