47th St, Sunnyside

If diamonds are a girls best friend, 47th Street is surely where every girl wants to live as it is not for nothing that this stretch is called The Diamond District, Situated between Fifth and Sixth Avenue, if you really want to impress the love of your life or just marvel at the opulence of so many amazing diamonds, this part of New York is not to be missed.

This quaint neighborhood in Queens is completely residential. Row homes all looking alike, but yet you get a feeling of comfort. Everyone knows each other in this 1-2 block radius and everyone knows your kids.

A very quiet area with minimal traffic - only residents. This is the only block where an Avenue and a Street meet - 47th Street and 47th Avenue - I know cause I lived there.

A great place for families.

47th Street in Brooklyn is a nice oasis from the hustle and bustle of midtown Manhattan. I think this street, with its limited commerce and traffic, was a nice break, and think that this neighborhood was filled with pleasant people. There were plenty of perks on this street, including convenience, which should be factored in if you’re considering this section for a move to Brooklyn!
