"Very heavy traffic congestion."
The traffic and congestion along 85th is terrible. This road runs between Redmond and Kirkland, connection Highway 520 and I-405. It also runs all the way from Lake Washington in Kirkland to Redmond Town Center and beyond. There is not enough stoplights and turnouts to help the flow of traffic.
On the plus side, this road is jam-packed with restaurants and shopping. Whether you want to head into downtown Kirkland and walk along the waterfront, or take your puppy to Redmond Town Center, this street will take you to both.
There is ongoing construction along 85th in the Redmond area. Hopefully some of this will help ease congestion and open up the road to easier travel.
