"A Little Street with a Lot of Green"
W. 249th St reminds me of a little side street in the hills in the south. It has a lot of green around. it's mainly as a back road from Henry Hudson Pkwy to Wave Hill.
In case you may not be aware of it, Wave Hill also houses one of the biggest Jewish colleges in NY. The place is Yeshiva of Telshe Alumni.
If you are interested in a safe place, this is the area to be. A very nice area. Not much in the way of housing, but a nice place to visit.
