"A family street"
This street is one of Jersey City's residential streets. When I did see my neighbors, they were pretty nice, but most people on this street don't spend time outside on their porches or on the sidewalk. The fact that pretty much no one had any gardens or anything in front of their house and pretty much everyone had a backyard to go to was probably also another reason. It is near to transportation and Hudson Mall, but its location has lost its appeal in the past few years. There used to be a supermarket in the mall that was very accessible from Virginia Ave, but since that closed down, the nearest place to restock your pantry is Met on West Side Ave. Virginia is also home to one of the local schools, PS #24.
