"Los Angeles Historic District Designation"

Carroll Avenue is in the Angelino Heights neighborhood of Los Angeles. The street was developed in the late 1880's. Nearly every house on the 1300 and 1400 block of Carroll Avenue is a Victorian design.
The signature home on the street is 1300 Carroll. The home was built in 1889 by the Phillips family and was purchased by the Morales family in the 1930's.

"Model Neighborhood"

Perfect location. Woodward Park is 1/4 mile away, Catholic Church, Gold's Gym, fine and casual dining within walking distance as is a highly desired Valley Oak Elementary School. A river walking path is located nearby. The street is in the Woodward Lake community development. A private lake is the centerpiece of this development where community member can use paddle boats or row boats for exercise of to fish. There is a community pool with tennis courts, basketball court and a community center with an exercise gym. What more could a neighborhood offer?

AdamS Hi Mike,

You rated your street perfect!!! Must be an amazing street. But surely there's something not quite right with it? Perhaps the local goverment isnt up to scratch? What about Nightlife? Doesn't look quite like a place where there are heaps of places to go out.

mikemora Hi AJ, nightlife is around the corner at Riverview Center. It may be the best all around spot for dining in the city. The center offers a variety of ethnic choices from Japanese Tepanyaki to Spanish Tapas, Mexican, Thai and an upscale steakhouse.
Our ultra-local community board is great, they keep dues low and the common grounds neat. Our Mayor is one of the best in the nation but our city council are a collection of pinheads.
